Bb's Tex-orleans - Pearland

I was really looking forward to trying the legendary BB's crawfish and fixins, but I ended up feeling quite disappointed. The crawfish seemed to have all the signs of being frozen: the heads were completely dry and the tails were mushy. The spices were decent, but not remarkable. On a positive note, the staff were attentive and friendly, which was nice. The best part of the experience was definitely the ice-cold Yuengling lager.

If I could give zero stars, I definitely would. I visited the West Pearland location, where the staff was attentive and friendly, but unfortunately, the food quality was disappointing. I ordered 2 pounds of crawfish, and while the first batch was fairly good considering it was the beginning of the season, the second batch was filled with a significant number of dead crawfish (see attached photo). I requested another order, but it had the same poor results; it seemed like we received the bottom of the bag. If that's the case, it raises concerns about whether management cared enough, were too cheap to discard it, or if the cooks simply weren’t trained to remove the dead crawfish before cooking. It makes you wonder if they even change the boiling water between lunch and dinner. In short, if you’re looking to pay for dead crawfish and risk gastrointestinal issues the next day, feel free to waste your money and time here. I think I’ll skip it when crawfish season returns in April!

I had lunch today at BB’s Pearland after hearing on the news that they were serving crawfish! We enjoyed 3 pounds of crawfish accompanied by corn, sausage, and boiled eggs. We also ordered empanadas and two margaritas—one strawberry and one on the rocks. The food was delicious, and the drinks were refreshing. We sat at the bar, and the service was great. The casual atmosphere and spacious patio made it a lovely place to gather and savor some Cajun crawfish!

Highly recommend this location!! Ashley and Ford were absolutely amazing!! The Chicken and sausage gumbo with crab meat was absolutely delicious!! My compliments to the chef!! The fried pickles were perfect!!! Love BB's!!

The heads were completely dry and the tails mushy. The spices were ok but nothing to write home about. The staff however were attentive and friendly. The highlight of the experience was the ice cold Yuengling lager.
