Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Pasadena

I ordered through Uber Eats on June 24 for dinner, and unfortunately, everything was cold when it arrived. The burgers were cold, the potatoes were bland, and the cheese wasn't melted enough. The three-meat plate tasted fatty because it wasn't warm. We had to put everything in the microwave, or else it would have been frozen and inedible. Overall, our first experience was disappointing. We've never had such a negative experience with takeout before. I wonder what went wrong? I won't be ordering from here again.

I just had to express the joy and excitement I experienced during my recent visit to your amazing restaurant! The customer service exceeded even that of Chick-fil-A, with a cohesive team that made me feel like part of the family. The cleanliness was outstanding, and the atmosphere was filled with happiness. The employee with long hair provided the worst service I've encountered in quite some time. He displayed poor customer service and mixed up our order twice. It was apparent that he wasn't invested in his job, and if that's the case, perhaps he should consider finding another role.

I ordered burnt ends and onion tanglers through the app, but when I opened my order, I found pulled pork instead of burnt ends and onion rings instead of onion tanglers. They didn’t inform me about the changes when I arrived to pick up my food.

For 30 years, I've been searching for that particular flavor on the West Coast, and the pulled pork sandwich from Dickey's is the closest I've ever come to it. I also tried the fried okra and green beans on the side, and the green beans reminded me so much of how my grandmother used to make them 50 years ago that I was actually moved to tears. It was truly good food! Thank you for bringing back such warm, cherished memories along with great taste!
