George's Place Grill - Parkersburg

I was initially reluctant to order due to the negative reviews I had seen, but I'm so glad I went ahead. I ordered the Shish Tawook and it was absolutely delicious. My husband chose a calzone with chicken and mushrooms, and he said it was one of the best calzones he’s ever had. We'll definitely order again or perhaps dine in next time!

Philly Sub is fantastic! The burger was decent, but nothing out of the ordinary (I have to admit I'm a bit biased since I make excellent burgers myself, haha). The fries, however, were surprisingly great. I'm glad I was referred to this place and will definitely be coming back for the Philly many times in the future!

Sirloin Sizzler had no flavor at all, I didnt even eat mine. It would be nice to have the option to choose what you want on your baked potato. I received a plain baked potato that wasnt even cut open, no butter or sour cream on the side even. Neither steak was cooked properly.

The spaghetti with meat sauce was not up to par, earning a rating of only 1 out of 5. The atmosphere of the restaurant felt lacking, scoring a 2 out of 5, but the staff's service was exceptional, definitely deserving of a 5 out of 5. Overall, I can't recommend this place based on my meal, but the friendly service was a highlight.
