I took the salmon, supposedly served with rice. I had a ratatouille (without being warned.) cold more. and aqueous. in short, quality preserves. The salmon was too cooked. It must be said that, given the smallness of the piece, he had to cook very quickly. for dessert the "fine peat with apples". in view of the amount of paste, we could have gone from the fine. Yet, not eating excessively, I went out hungry. as to the reception, he was, I think, nonexistent. And the room would be worth refreshing...Bruss, I'll take a next lap, and recommend doing so much.
We dropped in for lunch with no reservation. We sat down at 12:45 and requested the special which was advertised outside the restaurant. Note the restaurant opened at 12:00. The waitress informed us they were out of the special which we thought was odd considering it was a bacon burger and they had bacon and tartar on the menu and it was 12:45. So, we ordered off the main menu....I chose the beet salad and grilled beef skewer. The beet salad came out and seriously it was a cut up beet on a plate with some vinegar on it. No joke. The mains came and we both liked the meat options we chose. My fries were soggy. Another piece that I think should be mentioned is that I live in Paris and the staff didn't seem very welcoming. I wouldn't suggest for tourists. It was more of a local joint even though it's fairly close to Galleries Lafayette. I've been to lots of bistros in Paris....you can serve typical Bistro food in an inventive way. This place wasn't it.
A discovery on the occasion of a professional lunch. No surprises, no harm or good. it is a Parisian bistro with a staff accustomed to service quickly that does not emit a communicative enthusiasm dishes without surprise for a lunch. a good souvenir chocolate mousse
Nothing to reproach nor anything to extasier, but a good bistro with correct products, a typical decoration and a service without chichi but not unpleasant. short in this neighborhood it is finally a good address without risk even if we reproach industrial bearnaise and frozen fries
I got a lunch alone in the department store district to get to the Faux-filet. The kitchen is tasty, simple and authentic. I've enjoyed lamb chops and homemade fries, and a homemade chocolate mousse. The cuisine is faithful to traditions, very French, simple but tasty. service is excellent, fast, effective and of a rare prevenance. Bravo to waitresses! The room upstairs was a real calm but I realized it was unusual. prices are a little high but quality seems to justify them. I wouldn't know how the rest of the menu is of course but I recommend this restaurant for a simple and traditional meal.
