So Gong Dong Tofu House - Palo Alto

The food was OK. Service was absolutely customer unfriendly. They handed us the check even before we finished our food, and then asked us to leave in 5 minutes. Half of my food was on the plate. SERIOUSLY!!!

The food was quite good but service was selectively bad, it was like the waitress chose a few parties to be extra rude to. For example we sat down before another party and she went to them first to order. Then when we started eating she gave us our check right away while other tables didn’t get theirs till they were done eating.

I'll add that I find their bulgogi and other dishes to be average usually, but the tofu soup is consistently the best in the area. Good even via delivery. Service is usually fast too; they're organized!From 2020: Fast, reliable place for Korean tofu soup. I always get the cheese tofu stew, usually with chicken.

Food was great. Large portions so I took some home. Fast service. No complaints

Ordered seafood tofu soup, and seafood pancake. Pancake was OK, but not so impressed with the tofu soup.
