O’malley’s - Palmer Lake

Just yesterday, I ordered 80 wings and received only two tiny containers of blue cheese dressing. In the past, we've received much more dressing for half that amount. When I politely asked for extra, I was told that’s all that comes with it and to contact management if I was unhappy. You would think that after spending $100 on wings and purchasing an extra pint of blue cheese, they could spare a few more containers. Instead, it felt like the dressing came out of the waitress's paycheck, as she was insistent that I would have to buy more to get additional dressing. My guest from out of town was shocked by how unpleasant the waitress was from the moment we entered, and I felt embarrassed for previously praising a place where the staff seems indifferent to the customers.

The burgers were overcooked and the fries lacked flavor. However, the onion rings were quite good. The cost per person is around $20–30. I would rate the food a 2, the service a 3, and the atmosphere also a 3.

I had a wonderful experience during my first visit to this restaurant. The only issue I encountered was the level of attention from our waitress. It was a busy Sunday, with football on and perfect weather, so it was quite crowded. I found myself needing to ask other waitresses for help. However, the food was absolutely delicious and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. We'll definitely be returning! Price per person: $20–30 Food rating: 5/5.
