Trattoria Mezzomondo - Palm Desert

We stumbled upon this hidden gem of a restaurant while searching for another spot. The food is absolutely incredible—some of the best I've tasted in the desert. The service was excellent, and the entire staff was incredibly friendly. We tried five different dishes, and each one was better than the last. I highly recommend this place!

The restaurant has a cozy and intimate atmosphere with the most welcoming service. I ordered the lasagna, and it was incredible! Without a doubt, I will return to this hidden gem.

Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Luba, one of the owners, who treated us to a glass of Prosecco. What a delightful start to the evening! The food was truly exceptional, from the garlic bread to the exquisite duck dishes. I ordered the Lasagna, while my wife chose the Chicken Marsala. Luba described the dishes as mouthwatering—and she was not exaggerating! Elio, the other owner and chef, even stepped out of the kitchen to chat with us, which added a personal touch to our dining experience. The staff, including Carlos and Kristen, provided impeccable service throughout the night. I was in search of a memorable place for our anniversary, and Mezzomondo exceeded all our expectations. They made us feel special, and the food, service, and ambiance were top-notch. We can't wait to return!

My expectations are that the food is excellent, but due to a complete reservation list we could not get a table. However, the woman was so friendly and encouraged to try later or the next day, but we left the city. After the twisted nose and bs explation from a popular place on El Paseo it is nice to find nurturing people. A real treat.

We just happened to stop here on a whim, and had the most wonderful dinner. Everything was made fresh and perfectly seasoned. The service was outstanding also! I cannot recommend this strongly enough. We will be back.
