Sweet Basil California Eatery

I had a wonderful dining experience. The food was excellent, and I enjoyed my meal outdoors in a lovely, quiet atmosphere. I ordered the barramundi and the beet salad, along with an olive appetizer on bread. The service was outstanding, and overall, it was great value for the quality of the meal.

This was my first time dining at this location, and I found everything we tried to be excellent. I will definitely be returning!

My wife and I stopped by Sweet Basil Eatery in Palm Desert for a light lunch, and we were warmly welcomed by Martin, who greeted us with a big smile. He seated us at a lovely outdoor table, perfect for the beautiful day. My wife suggested the Caprese salad, which turned out to be an excellent choice. It featured fresh mixed greens, deliciously creamy Burrata, and a delightful balsamic dressing. The salad was further enhanced by heirloom tomatoes and a hint of red onion. We requested some fresh Parmesan to sprinkle on top and a bit of olive oil on the side, and it made for an outstanding lunch—truly one of the best Caprese salads I've ever tasted. I'm so glad my wife suggested we stop here! I left Martin a generous tip because he truly deserved every penny. When you experience good food and exceptional service, it's important to acknowledge it with a great tip. I wholeheartedly recommend Sweet Basil California Eatery to anyone looking for a fantastic meal. This was genuinely a five-star experience!

Loved this little gem. The house pasta is absolutely delicious, my husband had the meatloaf which he said was the best ever( except for mine of course Service was impeccable without being overbearing and love the atmosphere. So perfect yet casual.
