Mikado Japanese Steakhouse

Food is good, some dishes is on the salty side. Depends who you got for the “show” it can be fun or just whatever, it's more for the experience than the food, we were surprised that the head chef was entertaining each table by singing some classic songs.

Food was all really good! I ordered some sashimi for $26 dollars and they allowed it to be split with 2 types of fish salmon and hamachi, which is good because I wouldn't be coming back if they hadn't allowed a split!!! The rolls were delicious, we had the JW, Caterpillar and Dragon rolls. Samarai slice drink was a little spicy but delicious!

The place is old, the service slow and with attitude. The food... something you would expect at a cheap strip mall restaurant (specifically the grilled items). The sushi was ok. From the moment we were being seated, it was apparent that the staff has been there for a long time and they simply didn 't prioritize customer service. The manager had an attitude when we were trying to figure out the seating arrangement. There are eight of you and there are eight seats. Not that complicated! was his statement. When I asked the Chef if the shrimp in the corner of the grill was mine, his answer was Does it look like it 's in your plate? Let me put it to you in simple terms, this is MY HOUSE and you eat what I put in your plate. . Yes, that 's the exact statement. I hardly ever write negative reviews, but for a restaurant that costs around $100 per person, they definitely don 't live up to any expectations. If you are looking for entertainment for kids and don 't want to venture away from the resort, then this place will do. Otherwise, don 't waste your time and money.

First time back in several years and while the experience was fun, the food was not, especially for the price. Both the chicken and shrimp were extremely overcooked, which was disappointing. If staying on property I recommend trying others spots.

Was a bit sad that My champagne was warm warm so I had them take it back. No apology or offer for something else. My husbands beer was warm as well but he drank it . Other than that though the food was amazing and the chief was hilarious with his DAD jokes.
