Backsberg Family Wines - Paarl

We had an amazing wine tasting experience at the new Backsberg location in Franschhoek. Corne was undoubtedly the best host we've ever had. We wish him all the best for the future!

The new Backsberg location is modern, elegant, and very inviting. We attended an event there, and the atmosphere was simply incredible. I can't wait to return to Backsberg!

"New venues in Franschhoek are easily accessible, including via public transport, which means there's plenty of parking available. The staff is friendly and interesting, and they have a rich history. The wine selection is always excellent. On the downside, the place is a bit smaller and can get quite busy, so I would recommend making a reservation. The food menu and options are decent, making it a place you should definitely visit. It's a hidden gem!"

A good wine estate to visit. The first great thing about this estate is it has a restaurant that serves lots of good dishes wether you are just pickish or need something more substantial. It great to wander around and look at all the vintage wine equipment.. The wines are decent and it is well worth a visit.
