Bidrage med feedbackAs this is a historic inn, each room has its own unique character, so don't expect modern amenities—just embrace the charming atmosphere. However, be mindful that accessing the rooms requires climbing stairs, which could be a concern for anyone with mobility issues. In terms of walkability, the location is excellent for exploring the town. We were attending the Taste of Cambridge, and it was an ideal spot to return to after a chilly, rainy day. Overall, I would rate the rooms: 4, service: 4, and location: 4. Hotel highlights include its quiet ambiance.

We celebrated our anniversary dinner at the Inn during our visit to Oxford. The Caprese salad was outstanding, and my special softshell crab was absolutely delicious. My husband enjoyed an excellent beef shoulder special as well. The food was fantastic, and the service was great. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.
We did not stay at the inn but we ate there. Mrs Claus said it was the best Crab cake Sandwich she has ever eaten (and she was born and raised on the Jersey Shore). We both absolutely loved the crab soup. We are crab soup at 5 different locations on this trip. The soup at the Inn hands down was the best. Great atmosphere and with tons of history. Santa and Mrs Claus give it 4 up!!! Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5
This review is for our dinner at the Inn's Tavern restaurant. We are staying in Easton but wanted a special place for our anniversary dinner, so we made an online reservation and drove to Oxford. The drive was delightful, and Oxford is a charming little town. Our dinner was a five-star experience. We ordered a drink and a glass of wine, and shared the Eastern Shore crab appetizer, which featured lump crab wrapped in thin cucumber slices. The presentation was stunning and the flavor was exquisite. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his fish and chips, while I savored the outstanding shrimp curry—I nearly licked the plate to gather the last bit of sauce! Our server was friendly, and our food arrived quickly. For dessert, we shared a slice of Smith Island cake and then strolled down to the water to enjoy the sunset. I couldn't have been more pleased with our restaurant choice. While there are many dining options in Easton, the Inn is a historic jewel with exceptional food. Food and drinks: Excellent; Service: 5; Location: 5.
