A Cabana - Ourém

We had taken in a Mass at the church and we’re looking for a late lunch while in Fátima. I browsed TA and came across A Cabana which advertised Fresh grilled fish and meats. It was already 2:45 in the afternoon and they graciously sat us for lunch even though they would have to stay past their end time. My wife had the Fried fish, which I believe was a sole. My son had the grilled seabass and Pichana for me.The Pichana was flavorful and cooked perfectly, my wife loved her fish and spinach rice which had great flavor.My son ate every last morsel of his fish “ Saying best fish” Service was wonderful!

The service was 5 stars. The waiters were very nice. The food was not bad at all. The beef was practically on point. The serving sizes were great. The migas were awesome and full of flavor. It 's the ideal place to stop and eat if you 're on your way to/from Fátima.

I went to this restaurant in the beginning of the year and had to wait some twenty minutes to get a table for lunch. The parking lot is not well maintained and the view from outside the restaurant is not much. But inside the place has nice furnishings and a good enough decor. We chose a monkfish rice that took some time to prepare, more than we were expecting it but the result did meet our expectations and it was delicious. The portion served was quite good and the staff was very helpful. I would recommend this restaurant and the star missing for very good is due to lateness in the preparation of the dish.

Very good grilled meats. The veal in house sauce was also great. Highly recommend!
