Niffer's Place Opelika

Never been here before, but my server was extremely entertaining and engaging to speak with. Our service was well taken care of. The food was very good and had a nice atmosphere! There was a small mistake which my server went well above beyond so take care of! When I'm back through this area I will stop again!

We typically dine at the Auburn location (since 1992) and so it has been a while since we last visited the Opelika Niffer's but what a treat spacious with fun decor and very friendly service! Food is great as always, love the house made chips and having a large variety of menu items and burgers! Bonus having so much to do and see in downtown Opelika, excellent location.

Not a fan. The burgers are good, but they have items on their menu they don't actually serve and someone in our party didn't like the nachos at all. Also, we ordered food from here twice and both times we had some issue. The first time there were items missing. The second time we got no silverware and no napkins. Food is fine, but the experience is very disappointing.

The food was descent, and the staff was rocking it. The servers were busting their tails with a full dining room and 2 parties over the size of 15. I would’ve enjoyed my meal more had Brian actually ran food and helped his servers out instead of shouting runner at the top of his lungs every 30 seconds. In the time it took him to yell runner he could’ve delivered food to 3 different tables and helped his staff while being an actual leader. Instead he just screamed at his staff all night. I’ve been a manager at 3 different restaurants and never would I yell at my staff like this man did. I’m surprised you have anyone that wants to work under him. Brian needs some hospitality training big time. And to learn that helping his servers would go a long way.
