Cuckoo's Nest - Old Saybrook

We dined as a party of seven later in the evening and had a fantastic table on the upper floor. Our server was both fun and professional, enhancing our experience. While the food is on the pricier side, it's not quite gourmet. The shrimp tacos were delicious, and the combo plate was also a hit. The drinks were good overall, though some found the margaritas a bit too sweet. Definitely a great place with consistent quality!

A person ordered the fish tacos, which were very good. The burrito grande was also excellent—generously sized and quite filling. The black fish dish was a tad dry but still flavorful. The margarita shrimp tacos were impressive, with three large prawns in each, making them really enjoyable. The drinks were excellent as well, including the jalapeño margarita and the black sky beer margarita. The waitstaff was attentive and provided good service.

We've dined here several times, but last night was disappointing. Our server barely checked in on us, and when our food arrived, it was dry as if it had been sitting under heat lamps for too long. We noticed she was frequently in and out of the bathroom, which made us concerned. Hopefully, she wasn't feeling unwell while serving us.

It's a funny place to go for the ambiente only. eating is decent and they have something for everyone, even a burger for those who do not goos or burritos. but the Mojito-No. try something else from the list

Very bad quality food. Wasn't impressed. Will not return.
