Izu No Hana - Obanazawa

Great location and probably the most popular eatery at Ginzan Onsen. We went up the stairs and has a great view. We had delicious soba the dessert was served in masu, it wasn’t big but very delicious!

Absolutely delicious!! Do not worry if there is a long line because the eggplant soba is worth the wait! (Write your name on the waiting list because it does get crowded) Bonus: they provide special Yamagata Beer Soba flavored ice cream. •There is upstairs downstairs seating •Mini shop inside of Yamagata goods •Free Wifi

I admitted that this is the good place to enjoy Ginzan onsen’s view BUT the staff is very rude the service is very bad probably the worse service I ever had in my entire lifetime (have been visited japan almost 15 times) the staff asked us to leave the table after ordered the food for 4 persons. He said that the seats were reserved by someone else and when we asked him why don’t you tell us from the very beginning that the windows seat are all reserved? Because we had been sitting there like 20 more minutes and we already ordered the food. if I knew that, I will just leave the restaurant and find somewhere else to eat. BUT the staff didn’t answer anything he just rolled his eyes and took a heavy sign, then walked away. That’s very rude and unprofessional and anyway for almost 2 hrs there NO ONE come and sit in the reserved seat hahaa Do not eat here, the staff etiquette will ruin your trip in Japan.

Great location at beginning of scenic walk. Standard hot cold soba at premium price being one of less than handful soba places along stretch which can get busy. Most ryokans Inc dinner and breakfast so save that

Really nice scenic area and plenty of room to relax and look over the beautiful onsen town. I stayed for a few hours upstairs and got several dishes and all were delicious. There was a slight confusion with what was included so it ended up being a bit more expensive than I anticipated, but still a great and tasty deal (especially for a touristy area without much options)
