Tried this place twice just to give a benefit of doubt. Very dissatisfied both times. I am a fan of Mr.Kapoor's online cookery show but this restaurant on his name is a total shame. It's about time he makes some improvements. Food is awful, no flavours. Very highly priced, portion size can be improved for that price infact. I am sad to say I wouldn't recommend this place. I don't like to leave bad reviews but...

Terrible food, we ordered biryani and chaat papdi for takeout and asked for only medium hot biryani but it was next level spicy , even the chaat papdi was awful . M sorry guys but I must say food was beyond worst .

To be honest- most items we ordered were very good- Dal Tadka, Shaam Savera and Okra. However, overall still very bad experience due to following:-1) Harappa Paneer was stale and so bitter as if it was an old and expired. 2) Main course arrived 1 hour after our snacks were finished. Not sure- what is Sanjeev Kapoor thinking with 1 waiter and may be 1-2 chefs, am guessing.3) Tandoori Roti was as hard as rubber. We were dying after the 1 hr wait so just chewed whatever came our way. However, the waiter excused us from charge of one of roti's whereas all breads were insanely bad.4) Okra description mentioned corn and was different from what was mentioned in menu's description.Not coming again for sure. The only waiter did seem helpless many a times as he was serving 5 tables but he was slow as well.

Unusual dishes, delicious food, vegetarian options. I was a little worried when I realised that this is a celebrity chef, and the conference style banner is uninspiring, but the food was solidly good, dishes were nicely differentiated, there were things on the menu that aren't found in our usual favourite Indian (like aloo methi and several chaats; the stuffed kulcha was also good). Kind and thoughtful service. A few reviews here say the food is a bit spicier than usual for Ontario tastes and I think that's true, but not by much. We didn't ask for things to be toned down and it was all fine. Nice ambience, warm and cozy. More expensive than my usual place too but I think worth it appetizers and mains with drinks for 4 hungry vegetarians was $160. Would go again.

I’m never disappointed when I come to this restaurant! Very tasty food, friendly staff, great atmosphere!
