I feel bad for the food. No taste, to much art on the plate, but no taste on the mouth, the chef should go back to culinary school. Hospital food for sure. Horrible experience, and we saw a huge rat cloose to the door of the hotel.

This great hotel is located on the outskirts but close to the center of De Koog on Texel. Wide choice of different rooms. I rented a luxury suite myself. And it fully met my expectations. Very neat hotel. Nice rooms. Very friendly staff and very tasty food. Nice cozy bar. To be repeated

This review is about the Pelican! Where we stayed. Beds are (too) soft. Shower water towards the door, resulting in a water ballet. Furthermore, many permanent residents which detract from the holiday feeling. Food drinks: You can use the Van de Valk facilities! Sandwich service, restaurant, etc. Rooms: 3 Service: 5 Location: 5
