Bidrage med feedbackWent for my friends birthday, got split up just because we didn’t order anything tepanyaki. My friend when phoning to book made sure they understood we wanted to be sat together and they confirmed we would. How do you expect us to come for her birthday and split half of us up? Staff was rude aswell, not a single smile. Food was bland and not worth the price .
The service revolves around teppanyaki, which is light years away from authentic Japanese teppanyaki. It 's practically a Chinese restaurant that has turned towards Japanese cuisine since there 's no shortage of sauces and greasy food. The teppanyaki itself takes place around a table with other diners you don 't know, so don 't go if you want privacy. The chef seems to have more fun with small juggling and fire tricks rather than focusing on cooking good teppanyaki; it doesn 't matter if the meat ends up burned. The teppanyaki selections are limited and bland, with fried rice used as filler. There 's no attention to cooking techniques, the deliberate movements, or the orderliness in the true spirit of Japanese cuisine. It 's just a show-off that aims to entertain customers who don 't even know where Japan is. The à la carte dishes are 20% more expensive than average, and for a place like this, the prices hover around £50 per person. The sushi is awful. It feels like you 're eating inside a parking lot or a basement; there are no windows, no natural light. All of this is worsened by the fumes that aren 't properly extracted, filling the place with a fishy smell that will cling to your clothes even after 4 machine washes. After spending some time in the restaurant, you just want to leave because you can 't breathe.
Table of 8, food was fantastic but the chef was amazing! Tim was his name, he was funny and engaging- really made a great birthday evening! Would defo ask for him when we come back, he’s worth the good tip!
Tonight with the family. my mother has a diet crisis and said the waitress before. they were fantastic. my nut food was made sweet in the kitchen and it uses gluten-free soy sauce. so she could choose normal food from the menu and they made it easy and let it get in, which she could not have. it is a big plus if someone with food intocompatibility can feel normal in a restaurant. I also enjoyed it, and a few hours after I had eaten there, I still feel full to have eaten so much
Love comes here as eating delicious and the staff is so friendly. the chef cooks you eat before them what is good to observe. there is a pretty quick chopping, eier cracking and the boilers are quite spectacular when first lit! we always go for one of the meal times as they get good choices and I think the cost is quite reasonable. my only comment is that it can be a bit cold in the restaurant when they wait for their dining table.
