Bidrage med feedbackThis is a lovely restaurant! We just visited Denver, and we were pleasantly surprised by this place. The food was fantastic, and the pho broth was expertly prepared. The spring roll is huge—one roll is equivalent to two at other places! The tofu with lemongrass is incredibly delicious. I will definitely return to this restaurant if I come back to Denver.
I had the pho and I have no complaints. There was a generous amount of meat in both my bowl and my husband's. Overall, it was good; I've tried many places in the area, but none compare to Pho 7. I might go back to try something else since their menu is extensive and offers a lot of options!
The appetizer at Saigon Basil is absolutely phenomenal—truly some of the best Vietnamese food I've ever had! We visit frequently and only wish it were a little closer to home! Haha!
Probably the best restaurant in the area! Great food and service! I usually take out but everything is good here! The seafood dishes (hot pot lemongrass seafood), pho, coconut boba, appetizers are my go to. They don't skimp on the portions and use great quality food! Add some hot oil to your order if you get a chance.
We have been regulars at Saigon Basil since they were located at Federal Blvd. and Alameda. I always enjoyed eating here because it feels very comforting. However, yesterday will be the last day I will be visiting. They have a buss boy who now seats the customers and a new bus boy who looks younger than the rest. I have seen them before, but never got a chance to talk to them before. Yesterday, I found a dead fly in my bowl. Gross, I know. So, my fiancé grabbed it from my bowl and threw it on the ground and said that I should tell them and not to eat anymore. So I told the buss boy who asked if I wanted a to-go box and I told him no because I found a bug in my food and he laughed and said “no, no, no” and I said “yes, my fiancé grabbed it and threw it on the ground” and I pointed to where it was and he called the other young guy over and my fiancé explained what happened. Then the young man spoke to the older man in Vietnamese and made fun of the fact that I found a bug in my food. They laughed. And charged me full price, didn’t offer a replacement or anything. So we just quickly left. Again, paying full price and I had only taken 2 bites out of my bowl before finding the bug… the staff is so disrespectful; they didn’t make it right for us and LITERALLY laughed infront of our faces as if we didn’t understand what they were saying. This is not the Saigon Basil I once knew… will not be going back.
