Margaritas North Platte

Must have been a different cook today. Normally the al pastor tacos ate the bomb. Today kinda plain.

The food taste good. There is definitely a language barrier with very few who speak really good English. The atmosphere is unique and not always the cleanest.

Amazing little place....excellent food and OMG, have the churros for dessert!

Ordered the carnitas plate with rice and beans. Have heard good reviews about this restaurant and decided to give it a shot as I was craving Mexican food and I loooooove carnitas. Unfortunately, I think I got a bad batch. The rice, the beans and the tortillas were pretty good, however, the carnitas was pretty dry. I take that back, it was really dry. Some of it was dry to the point that it wasn't chewable/edible. Almost like it was the last of the batch before making some fresh. Will probably give them another try at some point as I'm thinking this was a fluke and will update once I do. Still worth a try of you're looking for some south of the border fare. After all, I'm just some guy, lol. Happy dining!

Just had dinner after a long day of travel. It was incredible! The service was spot on, the atmosphere was very fun and authentic and the food (we had the burritos) was fantastic! The meat was very tender and plentiful! I would highly suggest stopping there! Oh and the margarita was yummy too!
