Dick's Last Resort Myrtle Beach

When you go to Dicks Last Resort you are ultimately paying for the experience. The food is okay at best but not up to par with the amount you pay, but the staff and environment are something I recommend everyone to experience at least once. We visit every time we go to the beach

This was our final night at the beach, and I’m truly disappointed that we waited so long to visit this restaurant. The food was incredible and definitely worth the price. Our waitress was hilarious and provided excellent service. The music was a bit loud, but it didn’t really bother us. We can’t wait to come back next year! If you have the opportunity to go, do not hesitate—you won’t regret it! Be sure to try the catfish; it was outstanding!

Without a doubt, this was the best dining experience I've had in Myrtle Beach!

I have mixed feelings about my experience here. It was just a one-time visit, and I probably won't return. One aspect that bothered me was the server's approach when we were trying to order appetizers; he seemed rushed and a bit rude—though I get that this is part of the restaurant's vibe. He immediately asked us what we were eating without inquiring about drinks or appetizers first. After we shared our meal selections, he briefly returned to take our drink orders before disappearing again. As for the food, it was just average.

We made a reservation and I called the day of to confirm there was an error. When we got there we waited an hour and they forgot us and quickly sat us at a table when I inquired. The table was very close to the band and we could not hear the waiter speak or each other. Since this is supposed to be a funny experience, my recommendation would be to have a stand up comedian interacting with the crowd instead of a band when you can not hear the waiter or each other. The food was moderate.
