Dc Super Heroes Cafe - Niles

Although Megamall is the mecca of food in Manila, not all its food establishments survive. DC Super Heroes Cafe replaces a restaurant and they hope, like everyone else, they get support from customers. Its design from facade to interior attracts, it has your heroes painted all over or on their own life-size action figures. The place, I wished could have been bigger though so they can transform it like a comic book. On food, I was impressed with the vibrant menu look and its contents. They don’t serve the usual American diner-like of just burgers, hot dogs, pizza and shakes. DC does have a modern cuisine, everything they have is their own work of art. I loved my Seared Tuna Salad with hummus and glazed balsamic. And for the price of Php 360, it’s a decent price tag. My sister and I shared delectable Churros for dessert, which was creatively presented. The overall price points are high. This might be their challenge on getting people to come in regularly.

Their Burger is superb! The DC Comics theme was also well incorporated in the restaurant and in the food as well! What got my attention too was that their fries was placed in a ceramic container which was cool!!

The food is a bit pricey compared to others but I would say it's still worth what I paid for. The only reason I was not able to finish my fries was because I was already full after the burger. Finally got to eat at Big Belly Burger.

I super loved their food, inspired by the DC superheroes, when you dine here, you will a very light feeling, nice ambience, very classy interior, sosyal place, my friends had a great time. I 'll be coming back.

Tl;dr Great but not yet Super. Still a fun experience. Food-wise, the Pan seared tuna salad that I had was a great blend of flavors although, I tasted the dressing more than the tuna. I loved the little poached quail eggs BUT they were slightly overcooked so the joy of the exploding poached eggs into the salad was taken away from me : it would've been an awesome add on to the beautiful presentation with edible flowers! Drink-wise, the Blue Velvet Toffee Latte I ordered was sweet as expected and smooth. BUT there was an off after taste : Overall, the items I tried were all good but still needed some refinement. Not yet SUPER. I had a fun experience as a DC fan Watch out for bits of your fave super heroes in every plate. They dressed up the latte in a cape with the super man emblem to top it! I almost didn't drink it so I wouldn't ruin it! Haha
