Akira, The Art Of Sushi And Teppanyaki

Very straightforward and reasonably priced Japanese food but they don't have Japanese beers available which was a let down.

The food quality is excellent, but they have recently increased their prices, making it a bit pricey. The service can be inconsistent, but generally, it's quite good. The Akira Maki and the soft shell crab with cheese are highly recommended!

When you visit this restaurant, be sure to come with a full stomach since the service is quite slow.

I decided to give this restaurant a try while I was in the area, but I ended up feeling a bit disappointed. I guess I was expecting more, especially considering how busy it was during lunch. I found the prices to be quite high for what was offered, and there are definitely better deals and food quality to be found at other Japanese restaurants in the city. I ordered a bento box to sample a variety of dishes, but my first disappointment was the rice. I love Japanese rice, and to my surprise, it turned out to be just plain rice. The Teriyaki salmon was overcooked, making the fish dry and tough. Additionally, the hot food was served cold, while the cold items, like the sushi, were warm. I also noticed a few flies inside the restaurant, and the waitstaff seemed uninterested in addressing the issue. While it's not a terrible restaurant, there are certainly better options available.

The prices are high, but the food is excellent. You must try the Teriyaki and the Soft Shell Crab Maki!
