Chowder Bowl - Newport

I love it here! Every year I bring my best good buddy Gary, a Vietnam Veteran for his free meal. Many Veterans come on this day even a few from World War II THAT'S amazing to see! That one day a year they receive thanx and give thanx to one another! It's heart warming to watch. The Chowder Bowl girls treat all of them with so much respect no matter how busy. Food was outstanding and the service was great! Salads were huge!!!

So good! We had our food in like 5 minutes! It was so fast, hot and fresh. Good menu, good prices and really nice staff.. I will definitely be back!

By far the BEST clam chowder I've ever had! The clams are soo tinder! The fish and chips are also the best I've ever had by FAR! Not to much breading and perfectly seasoned! If your in Newport you HAVE to eat hear! Even if it's just for the clam chowder! There is a good reason it's called “Chowder House” i also highly recommend getting an extra bowl order or larger if they offer it of clam chowder togo or you will get home and really regret it like I am… I would drive 2.5 hours back to Newport … – show
