Van Leeuwen Ice Cream Upper East Side

I highly recommend this restaurant for its wide variety of flavors and delicious cones that literally melt in your mouth. I suggest trying the cinnamon and churro or Oreo flavors.

This is one of the few ice cream places I regularly visit in the city. The ice cream here is truly outstanding.

This is our favorite ice cream place in the Upper East Side. I usually order the regular vanilla on a waffle cone because I find the other flavors too sweet. The shop is small and they are great about letting you sample the flavors before you decide, which keeps us coming back. We wish there were more places like this in the neighborhood.

Given the line, the two employees did a swell job taking orders and getting them turned around. They were friendly and helpful. The ice cream was really something, and I'd definitely go back and try some other options as well.

Had a Vegan Sweet Potato and Marshmallow. Simple amazing. It felt creamy and very refreshing. Service was also impeccable.
