Sushi Katsuei West Village - New York

Highly recommended by a friend, we chose this restaurant to celebrate my friend's birthday. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented Omakase. We also tried the daikon and hijiki salad, which was excellent. The service was outstanding, and my friend was absolutely delighted. It was a perfect dinner for a special occasion. I definitely recommend this place!

This sushi restaurant is fantastic! It's not overly formal, but the price-to-quality ratio is outstanding.

I had a wonderful experience with the sushi here, which was packed with rich flavors. The chefs were friendly, and the restaurant was clean. However, I had to take away a star because it was really crowded, and the staff who seated us and took our orders seemed a bit inattentive. They appeared to ignore us after we were seated. Despite this, we truly enjoyed our time at this restaurant!

We got the sushi and sashimi omakase for $90. Good quality, great service. Minus two stars for the owner of the establishment, who told the hostess and waiter to ask me for proof that my dog is a service dog. I ended up having to disclose my medicaldisabilities and it wasn?t a comfortable experience. According to the ADA, I do not have to disclose the nature of my disabilitynor prove that I have a disability to be treated like a normal customer. The staff and hostess were just following the ordersof the owner, so this review is for the owner of the establishment. Please review ADA laws so people with disabilities don?thave to go through situations like this. Otherwise, good food and wonderful customer service.

Incredible sushi at a great price. This place is a gem. Service is top notch. Very very impressed with this place.
