Magic Hour Rooftop Lounge - New York

I had a seamless experience making a reservation online for Valentine's weekend. The staff was friendly, and the decor was beautiful, creating a lovely atmosphere. The drinks were not only strong but also visually appealing. While the food menu could use a few more options, the dishes we tried—particularly the fries and shrimp tacos—were delicious. Our waitress was attentive and welcoming. I captured many stunning photos, making this a perfect spot for a date. The ambiance was fantastic, and the live DJ added to the fun. This place is ideal for a girls' night out!

The food was decent—standard bar fare, nothing remarkable. They charged for their food and drinks at prices similar to more reputable cocktail bars in the city. The service from our waitress was extremely slow; she didn't check on us even when we were trying to order more food. Strangely, the food arrived quickly, even before our drinks, which seems unusual. On a positive note, the DJ was excellent, and the music throughout the evening was fantastic. The atmosphere and ambiance are probably the best aspects of this place. If you're looking to enjoy a lively environment with decor and views, and quality doesn't matter much to you, this might be the place to go. Unfortunately, it somewhat spoiled the first night of our guests in the city.

I attended an all-staff event at Hudson Guild and was really impressed with the venue. The rooftop space is lovely with plenty of seating available. The food was delicious, and the DJ played some great trendy beats. It’s a fantastic place to gather and enjoy time away from the city noise. However, I believe the hall, bathrooms, and elevator could benefit from better ambient lighting.

It took us a while to find the entrance because we saw the hotel first and signs inside aren 't very helpful. When we did finally find it, we saw the long line as expected for a Sunday afternoon but we gave it a shot anyway. We asked the doorman if we could just get drinks and he was very friendly and told us to come on in. The line to get into the elevator to get up is very, very hot but we survived. Everyone was very friendly during this process. We get up there and findtables filled with brunch goers all dressed up. We found refuge in the second bar where there were little tables. The barman there was very curt and said he was still setting up (he was setting up the whole time we were there). So we wentto the main bar outside and ordered our drinks. The decorations and drinks are gimmicky but that 's what makes it fun! We got three cocktails and all of them were amazing and didn 't make me feel sick with sugar! It 's fun watching all thecreative drinks and food dishes come out.

The ambiance of this place is super nice! I loved it. The prices are really high and you don 't get a lot for the money but the food is good. The music is ok. Wasn 't really a Thursday night we are on a rooftop having a good time vibe. More so chill/elevator music. A DJ or better sound track would have been better. The service wasn 't that great. We had to keep asking for the waitress or trying to find her. We had to ask for silverware and napkins. My friend asked for a dirtiermartini and a shot of something and the other waitress came over and said she didn 't understand you . So instead of asking for clarity she just didn 't bring it over and we had to ask another waitress. I would say try it out at least once.Get some dope pics. But I doubt I 'd return any time soon.
