Bareburger - New York

This restaurant has a very elegant atmosphere, more like a fine dining establishment than just a burger joint. They offer wine by the glass or bottle, as well as beer. The restaurant has booth seating and an upstairs area, with two spacious private bathrooms in the back. The wagyu smash burgers were delicious, especially when paired with their hand-cut fries. They have a daily happy hour from noon to 6pm, with 50% off wine, making most glasses around $10, so only $5 during happy hour. It's a great deal for a meal of burger, fries, and wine. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is a lovely place to dine in the theater district.

During my most recent visit, my order was messed up. I ordered wings but was charged for sauce instead. When I tried to resolve the issue, the manager rudely dismissed me and offered a mere two dollars as compensation. This poor customer service, combined with the disappointing menu changes, has led me to conclude that Bareburger is no longer worth visiting. I recommend looking for dining options elsewhere, especially in Hell's Kitchen. Save yourself the trouble and find a better meal elsewhere. It's a shame to see this once-great restaurant go downhill.

In one word, this restaurant is amazing! Everything from the food, drinks, service, and atmosphere is perfect. The fries are expertly made and some of the best I've ever had. And don't even get me started on the burgers - the meat is juicy and tender. It's a great place for a casual meal with friends and family.

I went to the Bareburger in Hell's Kitchen on a Saturday before a show and was very satisfied. We started with the fried pickles and brussel sprouts which were AMAZING, and then had a double cheeseburger for my entree which was beyond delicious. To make the experience even better, they have a drink special every day and the spicy margarita were only $7. There are so many restaurants in the area, so I normally don't have super high expectations, but this place impressed me. The service was incredible and the establishment was very clean and welcoming as well. I also appreciate them listing the calorie counts, which helped during my annual January diet.

This burger joint is superb. Great customer service. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about everything on the me (plus more than happy to adjust to your dietary needs/allergies). The food here is 10/10 the burgers are really delicious. I'd recommend going during happy hour for the drinks too!
