Bidrage med feedbackWe discovered it by walking by, looking for an open air burger place in the area, and were attracted by the relaxed, informal, pleasant atmosphere. The tables on the sidewalk of Second Avenue are properly spaced, there is also a covered area around the corner of East 70th, full immersion dining in a NYC East Side street. We have already been there twice in a few days, and were happy with it. The staff was friendly, ready to help with the selection of the appropriate dish or beer, and service was efficient but not rushed. The food was very good, I particularly enjoyed the Ahi Tuna Burger and the Onion Rings. Prices appeared reasonable for NYC: with burger, beer and a shared dessert, the bill was $82 in two and $98 in three. For warm days when one can sit outside, it remains one of my top choices nearby.
I was looking for a not-too-upscale burger joint in New York. I wanted a juicy, pink interior, thick, bar-style burger with some red wine and great fries. This place had it all. And not for $20plus per burger. Just $12.95. Excellent, but not overbearing service, with no indication of frustration over any of our party's customizations. Looking forward to returning on my next trip to NYC.
You could really use extra napkins for the lush big cheeseburgers, great fries milk shakes, diner-like setting, very good service, weekly specials
I was sold at the unlimited flavored mimosas for $16 . Overall I enjoyed the food and the service , my waiter was Juan . I did find it odd that when we walked in , we waited almost 5 mins for a hostess to come over and seat us , and they weren’t busy . Once seated Juan was amazing . I had the avocado ranch burger which was amazing ! I got it with turkey meat as opposed to beef . The mimosas kept coming, they had them with orange juice , pineapple juice and passion fruit juice . I loved passion fruit the best . See pics
Good news first..........the plain burger for $13.5 is as good as the burger at Burger Heaven. As for server, not so good. I asked what the difference was between this plain burger and the plain $8 burger. He said that this was 10 ounces while the cheaper one was 5 ounces and you can't get that one rare. When I asked why he scowled and said that they just can't cook it rare. I asked if I could get an omelette and he said they weren't serving brunch so that wouldn't be possible today...........note, it's a coffee shop and it was half empty. Surely they could have acommodated me but they aren't acommodating. I had the 10oz burger that in no way was 10 ounces. Never again.
