Noodle Canteen - New Plymouth

Went in and ordered two Honey Chicken Noodles, got one Honey Chicken with rice, and one something with prawns? Managed to get in contact with them and get replacement meals, so good service there at least.

Mie goreng was just okay, was too watery and tasted a lot like curry. I really didn’t like all the plastic containers. Even when dining in it comes in a container. We all should reduce our plastic, cos there’s no plant B.

Dishes here have less flavour/seasoning than every other noodle canteen I have bought from, no noticeable sauce in the bowl of singapore noodles I bought, also no tofu, I have bought the same dish twice, last year and this year, same both times. The food is ok, but significantly lower quality than other noodle canteens I have purchased from.

Noodle Canteen has always been our top choice when traveling across the country, and I must say that this location stands out as the best. Although it is a franchise, Noodle Canteen in New Plymouth offers exceptional service and delicious food. All you need to do is inform the front-of-house staff of your preferences. Highly recommended!

This is a fantastic spot for farewells! My favorite dish is the meat on rice.
