The orange juice was incredibly fresh! It's more of a grab-and-go spot, not really ideal for sitting in the café for a long time. The staff was friendly, though it was a bit hit or miss at times.

A charming and cozy café. The service was outstanding, and the staff was incredibly friendly and professional. The food was delicious, but it's the coffee that will keep me coming back for more! This little "hole in the wall" invites everyone with open arms. The subtle support for the LGBTQ+ community creates an even warmer atmosphere, and for that, Avenue Cafe, I am truly grateful.

I ordered the vegan sandwich on a bagel. Overall it was good but I think what would take it over the top would be adding a vegan egg and switching the bagel to an Everything Bagel or at least give the option for more than a plain bagel. The smoothie was great! It was kind of liquify at first but after it sat and i stirred it up, it thickened up. If you don 't like the taste of celery, make sure you ask for the smoothing without it because it will over power the drink. The service was amazing. They were respectful and patient and I loved their teamwork.

Decent, but could be a lot better. Things look good in the cute little store, but the taste you can tell that parts of it were frozen or premade before. Croissant sandwich was very bland. Bagel sandwich was mediocre. Coffee a bit bitter.
