Sofia New Orleans

Twelve of us gathered at Sofia to celebrate my daughter's birthday with a delightful brunch. We enjoyed $20 bottomless mimosas along with a kale salad, ricotta and honey dip, crispy potatoes, Margherita pizza, vodka pasta, and banana French toast, all served family-style. Every dish was delicious! It was the first time for my daughter and her friends, and they all agreed it was one of the best meals and experiences they've had. Keira was our server, and she was fantastic, making everything feel seamless. The atmosphere was great all around. I highly recommend this place!

The kale salad was wonderful, and the mushroom pizza was exceptionally flavorful and delicious!

Overall, we enjoyed our experience at Sofia's. The service was excellent, and the restaurant had a lovely and cozy atmosphere. The food was delicious, and the gluten-free crust was among the best I've ever tasted. However, we did find the value to be somewhat lacking. We ordered two pizzas and two drinks, which came to over $80. Given that the pizzas were quite sparse in toppings, we think that either increasing the amount of toppings or lowering the prices would improve the overall value.

Overall, I dont know how this place has such high ratings. Service was not great the hostess was unfriendly no cordial greeting seemed bothered having to sit us. Red wine by the glass, cab pino tasted like cheap wine. Appetizers were great meatballs bruschetta. Shared pistachio pesto entree, which was also very good, but we waited a long while for the dish to be served. Waitress recommended dessert Pistachio cake is more banana bread consistency w/whip on the side then it is cake . Waitress did not come around often, nor did anyone else to get water refilled. The place seems understaffed staff stressed. I wouldn 't recommend it, nor visit again.

We had the meatballs starter , delicious sauce was the key, perfect balance. Portions were on the smaller side I must say but overall excellent food and service.
