Bidrage med feedbackI visited New Orleans on August 23, 2021, and placed an order totaling $32.80 through DoorDash for delivery to the Olivier House, where I was staying. Unfortunately, I never received my order, and when I tried to call the restaurant, the phone line was disconnected.
I found this restaurant to be quite disappointing. I ordered gator on a stick, expecting fried gator meat, but what I received was a sausage made from a mix of unknown meats. Next, I tried the giant spicy barbecue shrimp, which were neither spicy nor barbecued and unfortunately tasted like mud. While the staff was friendly, the manager refused to offer a replacement dish or a refund. I was told, “This is New Orleans; everything tastes a little different.” However, I’ve had barbecue shrimp in Florida and elsewhere, and this dish didn't even resemble the tasty barbecue I expected.
Worst food and experience ever. I ordered a fish po'boy and after a 30-minute wait, it arrived burnt. I returned it, asking for a replacement. An employee came out and claimed it was blackened fish. I pointed out that there’s a difference between blackened and burnt, but he insisted I was mistaken. When I requested either a refund or a redo of the dish, he refused, insisting it was blackened. The customer service and food experience were terrible! Steer clear of this place!
I placed an order at this restaurant and received absolutely no notification that my order was cancelled. When I finally called (90 minutes later) to check on the status, I was told it was cancelled. I asked why didn't I receive a notification, and the person hung up in my face. Definitely don't recommend.
Ordered from here through Grubhub, and never received the food. I tried calling the number listed and it's no longer in service. How do you run a business and not have an updated number for your customers? If I could leave zero stars, I would. Thanks for absolutely nothing.
