George's Cafe - New Orleans

While this could be seen as a simple miscommunication, it’s becoming a concerning pattern. I’m spreading the word to everyone in my area to avoid this establishment. The driver, the customer service agent, and I all tried to contact the restaurant, but no one answered. I haven’t received any apology or gesture to rectify the situation. I won’t be using the app or supporting this restaurant anymore. It's disheartening because I want to support locally owned businesses, but the lack of communication and accountability makes it incredibly difficult.

I had a very disappointing experience with the service via Postmates. The manager of the restaurant showed no accountability for the situation. The bag didn’t include a receipt, leaving the driver without any information about the contents of the order. When I tried to address the issue, the manager hung up on me twice, dismissing my concerns. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau about this.

George's Cafe is situated in the basement of the Orleans Parish Criminal District Court, right at the intersection of Tulane and Broad. I've always been pleased with their freshly made sandwiches. I typically choose mine on wheatberry bread, which provides a lovely crunch when toasted. The breakfast croissant with hot or smoked sausage is truly amazing, and the bacon and egg with pancakes is quite fulfilling. The pizzas are also impressive, especially when you grab them fresh around 11 AM. All in all, it’s a charming little cafe!

The pizza at this restaurant is outstanding, and they have a wide selection of other tasty dishes too. The service is both attentive and friendly. I highly recommend visiting this place!
