Bidrage med feedbackI love Donuts district. I tried two donuts, an Arnold Palmer, Pommes and a Burger. It was so good. Everyone was friendly and it wasn't too loud. I love the cookies and milk donation! The chocolate donut wasn't my favorite. The burgers were excellent! You should definitely come to District Donuts if you're in New Orleans! Food: 4/5
Just an FYI that district has ice cream now, and they have a non dairy option: mango sorbet. And it's splendid and totally natural tasting. Thanks for providing a cold treat to folks with allergies like me.
Be sure to get there early if you want the cinnamon rolls : Got the honey chicken biscuit. Sweet, tangy, tender chicken with a crispy exterior. Biscuit was so good, it kind of reminded me a little more of cornbread. Delicious. I got the sauce on the side just in case. It was pretty spicy, but I really liked it. The donuts were amazing. The best one was the strawberry cheesecake. It was not an overwhelming flavor, I was concerned it'd be too strawberry y like a poptart. It was creamy, had a good aftertaste and the cookie on top was really great. Overall delicious and not too busy around 11 12. Cute vibes with nice employees and pretty, simplistic interior.
If you want a wannabe Voodoo donut that is overpriced and ultimately underwhelming in taste then look no further. This place has aphenomenal cinnamon roll but is the most overrated donut shop in the city. These donuts are terrible! The flavors are all over the place and they're expensive! You could go to Baker's Dozen or Blue Dot and get better donuts for a fraction of the price. The donuts are basically frosted hamburger buns. I've gotta talk about the cinnamon roll because it's great, second best in the city behind Boulangerie. The only thing I'll say negative about the cinnamon roll is you're probably going to feel terrible for the next few hours.
I had high expectations for many restaurants I visited in New Orleans and I was disappointed. This place was not disappointed. From the first bite everything I tasted was unique, even the Arnold Palmer. I had the chocolate and a milk and cookies. The milk and cookies were amazing and I don't normally like donuts. I also had a cheeseburger. I don't usually like a thick burger, but that was a great burger. A definitive stop when you're in New Orleans.
