Mj's Raw Bar & Grille - New Bern

We were in town visiting friends and decided to go to MJ's The beer selection was very nice and the food was good.

I love MJ's! It is my kind of place Cold beer, Great seafood, friendly staff, and dog friendly outside seating.

We ordered an assortment of appetizers to get a feel for the quality of the seafoodCrab pretzel was good, but nothing special.

Update: went again. I think this is my new Fav place! fish and chips, garnelen salatsandwich, clam chowder, and the crabs above bretzel (omg amazing)! great little place expected not much, and it exceeded our expectations. beautiful variety on the menu so seafood lovers, and non-Seafood eating had many possibilities. for an app we had the crazy shrimp cup. delicious. the new england clam chowder was phenomenal. loaded with whistle! the seafood pots was amazing with tons garnel, crumbs, scallops and mush. also homemade chest! the garnel roll was light and fresh, with a beautiful amount of garnel. the service was also on the point. we will definitely work back on our way through the menu!

By far one of the better experiences in nc. juicy oysters and some must have crabcakes. the seafood pots also pie my expectations! service was great and attentive. a must try when in the new bern area!
