Food and service were very good. We would definitely go back again. Lots of appealing items on the menu.
My husband an I were celebrating my birthday. I ordered the rack of lamb and the waiter asked how would you like it? I replied pink inside given each chef has a slightly different opinion what is medium rare. He gave me a dirty look with no reply and asked my husband what he wanted. It came out brown ... well done. My mashed potatoes were way over the top with truffle taste. It also came with a side of braised mushrooms that tasted burnt. In fact I wasn't sure what it was. I left very disappointed and felt like we wasted our money. We were one of three tables. Should have known when we walked in. I rated fair to be fair as my husband liked his Cordon Blu dish. Crème Brule had a smooth egg custard with no vanilla flavor. Again just fair.
I'm sad that he's closed. the food was excellent and the service was excellent
My daughter and I always wanted to try this local restaurant and finally had the opportunity. we were not disappointed. eating and service were great. sad to hear that petit robert has closed now. my daughter and I will still visit the "French presse" on the road. hope that the owner (jay) decides to open another restaurant in the future.
