Mercy Lounge - Nashville

As a wedding photographer, I was excited to shoot a wedding at Events on Cannery Row! This venue is truly special, not only because of its rich history but also due to its unbeatable location in the heart of Nashville. As you enter the building, you can feel the vibrant energy of the music scene that has thrived here for decades. The third-floor setting provides breathtaking views of the city, showcasing the iconic Nashville skyline right before your eyes. It's an incredibly inspiring atmosphere for a wedding celebration, and I thoroughly enjoyed capturing all the special moments of the day against such a distinctive backdrop.

The venue has a lovely, nostalgic vibe as a music location, but the sightlines to the stage leave a lot to be desired. It's quite a narrow space with stairs in the middle, and the extended bar makes it feel somewhat cramped in the heart of the village. However, the staff were friendly and courteous.

Ok venue. I only went to 2 shows here during my time in Nashville, and now they're closing up. It's a small, intimate venue great for singer songwriters to share stories in what feels like a big living room. However, if a show is sold out or close to it, it's super tight and there's no great place to stand to see. It's also VERY dark..not great for pictures or video. The parking situation kinda sucks too, just be prepared to pay $10 at the big lot let to it.Overall, I'm glad I got to see this legendary venue before Nashville trashes yet another landmark but I won't miss it too much. Too dark, too crowded, not enough artists that I'm into (mainly country)
