Gojo Ethiopian Cafe And - Nashville

First time eating Ethiopian food and it was delicious! This place is so cute, and the service is great. The coffee is absolutely fantastic! They roast the coffee beans and bring them out for to to small before they brew your coffee, just amazing.

I am a fan of genuine Ethiopian dishes and make a point to visit as many Ethiopian restaurants as possible. gojo offers some of the most delicious Ethiopian cuisine I have ever tasted. The prices are reasonable, the flavors are bold, and the food is served promptly. The injera was cooked to perfection, and after dining here, I see no need to look elsewhere for Ethiopian food in Nashville.

The food was excellent, but the customer service was mediocre. There is only one server attending to all tables, which can be chaotic during busy times. Even with only a few guests, it took a long time for us to get a glass of water. The server also wouldn't let us sit at a window table, claiming it was reserved, but no one ever showed up to claim it. The food, a sweet and meat combination, along with traditional Ethiopian coffee, was delicious. If the service improves, I would definitely visit this restaurant again.

If you haven't tried Ethiopian food, I highly recommend this place. I always opt for one of the combos so you can get a good mixture of things and all share. It makes the most sense to do it that way. Everything is delicious! I love the bread that you use to eat with. Also, this place doesn't serve alcohol but you can BYOB, which is cool.

Best Ethiopian food I've ever had. Make sure you try the Ethiopian coffee, it is very special.
