Bidrage med feedbackThe atmosphere is delightfully kitschy, reminiscent of the best Italian family restaurants in New York City. Almost everything is made to order in-house, and it was absolutely delicious! I ordered the gnocchi gorgonzola with added grilled chicken, while my partner opted for the chicken Parmesan. The portions were enormous—three meals for me and two for him, which I didn't mind at all! Our server, Sylvana, provided excellent service, and the music was perfectly matched to the restaurant's vibe—it was at just the right volume where you could enjoy it while still holding a conversation (unless you’re Italian, in which case you might be inclined to speak a bit louder!). I believe this restaurant will be our go-to stop on every trip to or through Naples from now on. Plus, it's conveniently located not far from I-75. As a bonus, it was my birthday week, so I treated myself to not one, but three tiramisu desserts—all made in-house, of course!
Small gem tucked in a strip mall in Aldi’s . The food was delicious! The best bruschetta I have ever had!Food: 5/5
We had a wonderful evening at Trattoria Mangia. The food was absolutely delicious, and we may have ordered a bit too much! The Veal Piccata was particularly exceptional. We really enjoyed our time there. The wine was the perfect pairing! Susie and the entire staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. We'll miss them over the next two months while they're on vacation, but we wish them all the best because they truly work hard. Enjoy your break! We’ll definitely be back. It felt like being with family.
The food was quite good, though there was a bit too much sauce on some of the dishes. The music playing outside was excessively loud and somewhat bothersome. On the positive side, our servers were exceptional. However, it did take a while to receive the bill and settle it. Overall, I would rate the food a 3 out of 5.
Several friends recommended Trattoria Mangia to us, so tonight we dined with another couple and had a mixed experience. Our friends have dined here 5x and it was our 1st. We were seated immediately, the hostess was very friendly. Our server was great also. Positive: the bread was warm and fresh, the sautéed calamari with artichokes delicious, we brought a bottle of Cabernet and only a $25 cork fee, husbands drank beer in cold glasses, the Tartuffo we shared for dessert was good. The server didn’t rush us. Lots of outside tables, inside was mom and pop cute. We love a family business! Negative: we all had something different, the rolled pork in mushroom sauce with side of fettuccine Alfredo was average, the veal dish was okay, the chicken with artichokes was excellent, and the bolognese was actually NOT good, I gave to my husband to finish. Our bill was $250+tip. Maybe our expectations were set too high, they were busy all night with tables turning over atleast 1x. The food was served hot and plentiful, it was the taste that 3 of us felt was average. With sooooo many Italian restaurants in Naples, we probably won’t be back, it might have been an off-night for the chef.
