Yamada Sushi Poke - Naperville

Got Sushi and Fried calamary from this place last weekend. Sushi was good but calamary was way below expectations (it said it comes with Chef special sauce but it was just some sweet bottle sauce, no taste, looked pathetic)

This place is good and could be a 4/5 star but a few things really tilt the scale to a 3. The place overloads anything with spicy mayo. Poke bowls are like 1/3rd mayo and it doesn't need to be. The price is slightly high on a few item and the cooks aren't consistent on similar product. I'm a big nigiri fan and sometime when I order there is no rice, little rice, right amount or way overloaded. I will say taste and quality of ingredients have been great.

I absolutely LOVE this place. I moved to North Carolina last year but whenever I’m in town I come for a bite. They’re always so sweet and caring. The food is also extremely tasty and fresh! There hasn’t been a time where they haven’t followed order notes!

Great food, friendly service, quick timing for good and very reasonable prices. Our go to place for sushi now!

Great sushi place with great prices! Really loved the Gyoza. Service is wonderful.
