Bidrage med feedbackReally good fried food. The cat fish, okra, and green beans are really good, And you can't go wrong with their hush puppies. The customer service is lacking. The lady at the drive thru is short in patience and rather rude.
I give Captain D's this rating because the seafood is fast, inexpensive, crispy and tasty. First time my take out was perfect. Second time, when I got home I discovered that my Supreme Seafood Platter contained only one piece of battered fish instead of two. I see that another review had a similar problem. The Captain needs to hire galley staff that can count to two. Count your fish!
Capt. D'S has lost their minds on price. Fish they serve is real fish. Shrimp they serve is some kind of farm raised mix of bits of shrimp and fish that is not real shrimp, but tasty. Price for years has kept this poor man coming back . Now these prices are outrageous. If Capt. D'S believes people will spend the same amount of money at their place, instead of going to a finer real seafood restaurant....they have lost their minds. Don't believe CD's will keep the doors open much longer.
Customer service is obviously not a priority! The food, as always, is excellent but the manager on the drive thru window and the cook today (I think he may also be the owner) need to learn people skills! Part of my order was a lobster roll combo. He repeated back as a large sandwich combo and said that was what I had said. My SON was in the car with me and heard me order the lobster roll combo. He repeated back my son's drink wrong at least twice. We get to the window and he proceeds to call us ladies 4 times! I corrected him the first time and said that's my son, not a lady! Twice more he said ladies! We decided to ck the food before leaving the window since the last 5 times our order was wrong. The cook comes over and asks if anything is wrong. I tell him we're just checking to make sure our order is correct (it was an expensive order).He says it's all correct, have a nice day! It wasn't so much what he said, as the time of voice he used, implying we're holding up the line. We drove out of our way to go there! They need the lovely lady that used to be on the window to come back. She was friendly and helpful and knew how to treat customers. We won't be back, not because of the food, but because of the 2 employees working today!
First time being here from Ohio and I ordered 3 pc fish dinner (and paid for it) only to drive to the park to enjoy to find I only got 2 pcs! I knew I should have went inside since people can't even count to 3.
