Lercher - Murau

We arrived to Murau late and were looking for some place to get dinner. The attitude of the man in charge was just terrible. There are different ways how to tell you that kitchen is closed already (we arrived 10 minutes past nine), but this...particular one was such that we will never come to this place, no matter what.

We have arrived really late, but we wanted to have a breakfast. The owner took care of us and the kitchen made an excellent egg-breakfats, the ham-and-eggs mad of the famous Austrian hill-ham (schwarzwälder schinken) got great taste. The coffee and the hot chocolate was...perfect, decorated with milk foam.

Nice family run hotel and restaurant The owners are very friendly. They have also a very good winelist. All week open for lunch and dinner. In the summer there is a terrace( covered) for dinner.

This was the only place open on a Sunday night, when we as a group of friends went for drinks there. Service was very attentive and the Murauer beer delicious.

Fantastic game carpaccio and overall very good kitchen. Staff very service minded and with good knowledge of wine. We will definitely come back!
