Even the cooks looked confused about what was happening. My dad grew frustrated from waiting and eventually walked out. I understand the cashier was young, but at the very least, he could have taken my dad's order while the couple sorted out their issue. It was really disappointing! In the end, he ended up going to Chick-fil-A, which was not what he wanted for dinner that night.
My wife and I visited Charlie’s in Moorestown Mall twice, and both times we encountered an extremely rude short, heavyset Mexican female employee. On our first visit, my wife simply asked for a straw, and the worker reacted aggressively. We tried to ignore it, but on our second visit, the same employee was there again. When my wife requested that the hot peppers be mixed in with the steak while cooking, the employee loudly shouted, “NEXT!” My wife then asked her, “Did I do something to deserve this rudeness?” It seemed to us that the employee may have a problem with educated Latin women, as my sister-in-law also experienced similar treatment from her. We will not be returning to Charlie's at Moorestown Mall.
I placed an order through UberEats, and after seeing the reviews online, I got a bit worried since the rating was only 3 stars. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and presentation of the food—it was actually quite good. I would definitely order from here again. I believe the low rating is mainly due to the in-person service rather than the food itself.
Firstly I would like to start with i and currently under going chemo and fighting cancer at the moment, I don’t eat much nor have and appetite much, so when I did and said man I would really love a cali steak from Charley’s it hurts me that this was my experience. My girlfriend went to the moorestown location for me because I am bed ridden. Upon her arrival when she greeted the staff behind the cash register and older Hispanic woman) she said she was greeted with immediate I don’t want to deal with people attitude from her while ordering she was asked to repeat the order several times before she even really got out what it is she was trying to order because they woman rudely interrupted her more then twice after she was actually able to convey thee order upon payment she rolled her eyes while waiting for her to collect the appropriate amount and loudly scoffed. had this not been my request she would have immediately left) lastly to receive a cali steak with and almost doughy raw roll asked for it to be toasted and I’m sure they toast all rolls) without my pickles asked for or thee other things included like extra ranch cheese etc. I’m appalled not only at the services that were provided but the quality of food that was given I have not had a bad experience with a Charley’s before until now and I can guarantee I will not return to this location. And if so the employees in question she be immediately reprimanded. DO NOT GOTO THIS LOCATION!
I don’t understand how they only have 3.1 rating ! I order from here on door dash, when I tell u I’m from. Philly this place is in jersey and it’s close to the best steak I ever had. I didn’t see how to give this place a review on the app so I searched the web .. that goes to show you this place is sooooooo good ?? u see the photo I’m almost done and I just got it
