Martin's -b-que Joint - Mount Juliet

New to Mt. Juliet. Came to Martins for BBQ. I sat at bar to not take up a table. The server had his back to me filling up sauce cups. He never acknowledged me for 10 minutes. A second customer came in and had to get his attention for a beer. She left for some reason. He saw me and turned back to fill sauces. I left and had BBQ elsewhere. These days service is very important to earn customers business. Hope this is helpful.

They have the best barbecue in nashville, everything they have is delicious could eat there every day

Excellent place, very friendly and inviting atmosphere. Brisket Taco’s were great, pork shoulder bbq excellent—— for the record their bake beans are the best. Mac and cheese , green beans and hush puppies excellent. Highly recommend if you are in Mt Juliet….

I ordered a bowl of chili but was served a cup instead. When I pointed out the mistake, a young staff member came back after speaking with his managers and told me that they had inputted a cup into the system, which is what I paid for. Neither he nor his manager provided a solution to the issue. I would have gladly paid the difference for the bowl, but that option was not offered. As a result, I'm leaving this disappointing review. The BBQ is great, but the staff and management at this location seem disconnected. Pat M. would be embarrassed by how they handled our situation, especially since my family and I have been fans of his BBQ since the original Nolensville location. I really hope someone who cares steps in to improve the management at this location. Just for context, my original review when this location opened was five stars across the board. I wish I could have kept it at five.

This is my favorite BBQ spot in MJ. The prices are reasonable, and the food is fantastic. I really appreciate consistency, and this place delivers! It's just unfortunate that they sometimes run out of brisket.
