The hostess was somehow rude and unprofessional (Trinken Soda, while we were standing in front of her and only stared at refusing to speak first), but our server was amazing (I think her name was Malia)! Nice and helpful. I had fish and chips that were a little gland, but I'm hard to please as I used to WI fishing. That could have been the best I had outside WI, so still high praise! The drinks were very delicious. My Bf got Steak and said it was great. We would eat here again if we were in the area.
I had the absolute best time here, and loved all the amazing food and drinks! PplHad sauteed mushrooms for appetizer, strawberry blonde cocktail, salmon and veggies. And New York style cheesecake. All of them delicious!!!
Stopped in on a Saturday night and was able to get a table next to the panoramic windows facing the bay. Beautiful view of the sun setting. Our server was Jessie who did a spectacular job, thank you Jesse.We ordered the center cut Top Sirloin steak with seafood skewer, it was excellent. The seafood was: shrimp, cod fish and scallops.We also ordered the swordfish dinner, it was spectacular.For dessert we split an order of bananas foster, it was good, just wasn’t great.Overall dinner and service was great.
My family of four went to lunch on Wednesday and we were lucky to get the best table since we arrived shortly after the restaurant opened. It seemed like all tables had a great view of Morro Rock. The food was really good, and they had a great children's menu. I only wish they had the crabs they offer in the small hut for the kids. Our service was excellent as well. For appetizers, we had oysters on the half shell and dungeness crab cakes, which were the best I've ever had. My husband had the seafood plate and I had the Pacific red snapper, both of which were excellent. The kids had the chicken strips with strawberry lemonade and everyone enjoyed their meal.
Never been to Harbor Hut before but was pleasantly surprised. I had the rib-eye with bleu cheese and 3 prawns. The prawns were good despite being blackened which I personally don't care for. I dipped them into a sauce my mother received that she was indifferent about and the prawns were better. The sauce was like a cocktail/sweet sour/mild spice and paired well with certain menu items. The steak was fantastic and prepared to perfection. I made sure to savor every bite. Dad enjoyed the fish and chips. Those were some chunky sized filets! Mom had coconut prawns, rice pilaf and fruit. Those prawns were scrumptious; like a home run and they were like jumbo sized. I seriously thought that they were pork chop medallions when she got her food. She didn't care for the sauce I like on my prawns but another creamy semi-sweet sauce paired well with her meal. The only downside to all of our meals was mom's fruit. Pineapple was good, honeydew was not sweet. All things considered, this was a fabulous first time dining here. Comfortable seating, nice views, waterfront location, prompt refills on drinks, great service overall, friendly staff. I could go on but this is a long review as is. I will happily return next time I am over here in the area. Thank you Harbor Hut for a wonderful dinner.
