Visited Grand Teton National Park and the lodge a few weeks ago. My husband and I decided to eat dinner at the Blue Heron because it has a fantastic view!!! We found a table and waited about 20 minutes for our waitress. The restaurant was busy, but there were still places to sit. When our waitress did come, she immediately asked us what we wanted to order and the moment we hesitated said “I am really busy right now. I will come back.” Blunt, but it didn’t initially bother us. She came back in 10 minutes and took our order. The food came quick, but it was not good. We both got burgers and the tasted like frozen, school lunch burgers. My husband came with a very small pile of potato chips (not the restaurant made kind) and mine has some arugula with dressing. Our waitress never came back. Another staff member took our dirty dishes and we watched our waitress run around our table not even looking at us. We had our 6 month old with us, and when he start to cry, I took him out to the car. My husband waited for another hour for our check. After multiple attempts to flag down our waitress, he stopped another staff member to ask for help. They were able to get our original waitress and when she came with the bill she just said “I forgot I had that table.” Maybe she was having a bad day, but since the food wasn’t good either, we will NOT be returning.

Great food and an awesome vibe here. Staff were great too. Mel was our waitress, she did an outstanding job!

This place is actually quite good! We had great service and the view is awesome! and the pricing is reasonable Vegetarian options: oyster sandwich for pescatarians. Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Pita Chips and Sundried Tomato Hummus

The lodge offers stunning views, and I really enjoyed the Huckleberry Margarita, though it felt a bit overpriced for such a small drink. The bartender, Chris, crafted a fantastic cocktail. However, I was quite disappointed when Jon arrived. He removed his knit cap and ruffled his hair while behind the bar, then went on to handle food preparation utensils. There should be greater awareness of proper conduct in such a setting. I didn't try any food, but I’m giving this review 1 star because of this unprofessional behavior. Food: 1
