Sampe's Pizza - MOOROOLBARK

I remember when I was here for the first time. Actually, I can't believe I'm writing this review at 11:40. this whole two long weeks in order is so good.

Best pizza in the opposite for a long shot. Previously we were our local, now we are moved, but still we make the trip back to mooroolbark for their pizza.

Absolutely delicious pizza. well cooked, with generous beats. better than many of the pizza shops round, and definitiw the journey worth

No bad pizza. but the question is more whether the massive prices are justified, and I am sorry to say that the quality falls a fair whack short, which they end up chasing.

Tried this place as our local was closed. Tried a couple of 'gourmet ' pizzas and they were average at best. Peri chicken was soggy and the chicken was terrible- frozen deli cube type that is far from the gourmet 'marinated chicken ' listed on the menu that you 'd be expecting when paying for premium pizzas. Lamb was ok, but again, nothing gourmet or interesting about it. The bases tasted like the pre cooked ones you get from Coles. Nothing homemade or authentic about them. Service was ****- girl hung up on me halfway through my order while I was in the middle of asking a question and didn 't take my details.
