Bidrage med feedbackNoodle time! I came for noodles and I was not disappointed. I'll admit that I came here for ramen and accidentally ordered not-ramen.
What attracted me to this place is the traditional Japanese style cushion on floor seating arrangement.
The service was friendly and the place is cuteThe food? Not so muchTheir ramen version taste anything but ramen.
Small "around the corner" restaurant, a touch of originality with tables owner you have to sit on the ground ....just like in Japan.Food is good and good sized portions, not sure about the cleanliness of the kitchen though. That's why I only gave them the "average" grade, because if you bring the clients near the kitchen, it has to be pristine!!!
We happened across Tampopo, and are so glad we did! Look for the big Buddha painted on the side of the building. I thought it might be a Buddhist center, so we headed over to check it out...but instead found delicious food to fill our hungry bellies! Relaxed, calm atmosphere. We opted to sit on the raised floor with table. I couldn't tell you what the names of our dishes were, but they were absolutely delicious! We were delighted to be able to take home leftovers so we could experience it again the next night. Highly recommend, and would certainly stop by again if in the Plateau (which we love)!
