Lumière De L'Inde - Montréal

I went to this restaurant for lunch on a Wednesday. The menu had a limited selection, but the prices were reasonable and the service was efficient. I tried the chicken dish and it was delicious.

We ordered butter chicken, rogan josh, rice, and naan. The rogan josh was amazing - perfectly cooked lamb with a delicious mix of spices.

While not perfect, the ambiance at this restaurant is suitable for chatting with friends.

We have been to several Indian restaurants in Montreal and this is one of the best. Excellent food with lot of variety (go with "à la carte" menu and pick your own combination), quick service, fair prices and portions are generous. Moreover, friendly service is both English and French, a rarity in Indian restaurants. We are now regular customers of this great restaurant

Horrible food: naan bread too cooked, oily sauce, cooked chicken, endless delivery time, overall freshness of the dishes that leave to be desired. Pass your way.
